Remove Pages

Documents often carry pages you do not want to share — a blank separator, an internal cover sheet, a duplicated scan or a section meant for someone else. Remove Pages lets you delete specific pages from a PDF and keep the rest, so you can send a clean, trimmed document without the clutter.

It is the quick way to strip out the parts of a file that are irrelevant to the recipient, leaving only what matters.

Upload your PDF, select the pages to delete, and download the trimmed document. Remaining pages keep their original order, content and quality — nothing is re-rendered, so the pages you keep are byte-for-byte what they were.

Work from the highest page number downwards when removing several pages manually. Delete page 3 first and every subsequent page shifts up by one, so the page that was 7 is now 6 — which is how people end up removing the wrong pages in a second pass. Selecting everything you want gone before applying the change avoids the problem entirely.

Verify against page positions rather than printed page numbers. In a document with a cover and front matter, the printed 'page 3' is rarely the third page of the file, and this mismatch is the single most common cause of deleting the wrong content.

Look at each page you intend to remove before removing it. Blank-looking separator pages sometimes carry a footer, a reference number or a signature block that turns out to matter. Duplicate-looking scans are occasionally two genuinely different pages that resemble each other.

Keep the original file. Removal produces a new document, and if you later discover you needed page 12 after all, the untouched source is the only way back.

Deleting a page removes it and its content from the new document, which does make this a legitimate way to withhold whole pages from a recipient.

But it only works at page granularity. If a page you are keeping contains a paragraph the recipient should not see, removing other pages achieves nothing — and covering that paragraph with a box leaves the text extractable underneath. Removing information from within a page you are sending is a redaction task.

It is also worth checking what remains after removal. A document that still references 'the schedule at page 12' after page 12 has been deleted invites exactly the question you were trying to avoid.

Pages are removed in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Given that this tool is most often used to strip content out of a document before sending it onward, uploading the untrimmed original — including the pages you specifically did not want shared — to a third-party server would rather defeat the exercise.
